New Decree

Who can EVER manage to stay away from deviantArt for too long? How many of us pour out like water and trickle back in just as easily? I've been in the ranks of "Deviant who left and came back!" twice now, both times with newly formed opinions, perspectives and excuses.
I left deviantArt becomes of the new management, my views on that were quite blatantly out there as my views always will be. While I still strongly disagree with a lot of its politics, policies and (let's face it, kids) pretentiousness, the common ground of dA is that while some of us are in it for the props, I'm evidently in it for the inspiration.
Since I've left deviantArt, the process of writing at all has become long and tedious, leaving me with little to say for myself by the ways of poetry.
I have always read the stuff in weekend feasts, and when the time came that I could relate all to well with the Erica Jong I keep in my messenger bag, I knew I had to make a change.
My hope is that, by coming back to dA, and thus embracing all that goes along with it, I will again string my words together in what Colette would call, "fury, passion and insomnia."
I have lost many, many Watchers but those figures hardly matter to me; I still see some old, familiar icons and that makes me very glad that, after a year of absence, I have a little bone in my back.
For those of you who didn't immediately chuck me off your watch lists? Can't thank you guys enough.
Once again,
Gustave Laurent,

How much are poems actually worth, anyway?
You're mostly buying paper and ink when you purchase poetry books.
I'd give them away for free, if I could afford to.

Everyone and anyone under the sun who is willing to read it, can have as many as they want.

(P.S -- please do not feed the struggling poet, it only encourages her.)
